Education Reform From the Teacher's Perspective

Common Core may not be the best method of implementi­ng national standards, but in the work I have done correlatin­g these new standards to the current California standards, I have found that they are relatively well written and surprising­ly thorough. One thing I like about them is that they push literacy beyond the Language Arts classroom and into other subjects like Social Studies and Science.



CCS is not the end all be all, but I believe it is a great step forward!
